Behind the scenes at our last photo shoot | bridal jewelry collection 2018

Before I take you behind the scenes of our 2018 bridal jewelry collection photo shoot, I have a little personal story to tell you. Ever since we went to elementary school, my parents have given me and my siblings a little gift at the end of the school year for our good results every year. For some reason, the year I was nine or ten years old, there was only one thing I really wanted; the bride Barbie doll. It wasn't necessarily the Barbie itself that fascinated me, but the beauty and happiness that the doll radiated. Thinking back, I have to admit that was the moment my love for all things brides and weddings began. 15 years later I started designing my first bridal jewelry collection. Now, 20 years later, it is no exaggeration to say that my "bridal love" continues to grow. I mean, after the bride contacts us to discuss and have her bridal jewelry designed, I don't think there is anything more beautiful than seeing photos of her on her wedding day wearing our jewelry with love and happiness. That's why Fredrik and I have been working hard lately to create a brand new bridal jewelry collection for 2018. It's our fourth collection, and without talking out of the sewing box, we can reveal that we went a little out of our comfort zone with this collection this time. We are very happy with the result and can't wait to show you the final result. What I can already tell you is that you will discover shapes and sizes that you haven't seen in any of the previous collections. However, my love for combinations of beautifully cut crystals that give your outfit the perfect sparkle, combined with different freshwater pearls, is still very present in the new collection. For this collection, we had the pleasure of working with an excellent team that worked magic on set. Bina Terré was our photographer of the day and had the pleasure with the classically beautiful Sophie Veldhuizen in front of the camera. Together with Janine Hohmann, who was responsible for the various hair and makeup looks, it was an all-around successful day. We were also lucky enough to have my dear sister Liesbeth Vandamme and her best friend and assistant Leen De Kort with us, who will create a beautiful collection video. (Looking forward to it already:-) ) A big thank you also goes to dear Veri from Bridal studio Tara for their competence and their very well thought-out compilation of the individual outfits, which harmonize beautifully with our jewelry. Now there is nothing left but to wish you a lot of fun with the pictures and impressions of our shooting. If you look very closely, you may already be able to guess some new designs.
