5 Questions for our birthstone model Shari Lynn Stewen

Since the beginning of the year we present you every month a new Birthstone and our exclusive mini collections with it. You probably also noticed the matching photos, which always show only one ear with earrings or a wrist with bracelet in close-up. But who is actually behind it? Because we always have so much fun together at the photo shoots, I would like to finally introduce you to the model behind the close-ups, who so gracefully stages our birthstone collections every month: my enchanting friend Shari Lynn Stewen. When I'm not designing jewelry, you can usually find me in the theater, currently at the Disney musical "Mary Poppins" in Hamburg Harbor. There, Shari and I share the stage for up to eight performances a week. Most of the time we play in the ensemble, but sometimes, with a bit of luck, we also have the great pleasure of dancing through the spotlight together as Mary Poppins and Bert. And every time, working with Shari is not only a great pleasure, but also deepens my laugh lines. Clear the stage for Shari! Here are 5 questions I asked her: 1. what is your personal favorite piece of jewelry? My personal favorite jewelry is a pair of earrings from Swarovski. They are small plugs with many small diamonds and I got them as a gift from my husband about four years ago. They are subtle but chic and I wear them on every special occasion like premieres or most recently on our wedding. My JUVELAN favorite piece of jewelry from the birthstone series is still very fresh, because it is the Beads necklace "Sweet. It is beautiful filigree and also has this simple elegance that I like very much in jewelry or fashion in general. 2. What is the most beautiful place you have ever been? I find this question incredibly difficult to answer, because places sometimes only become incredibly beautiful through special moments. For example, the port of Hamburg will always be beautiful to me. I grew up here in the north and have always had an affinity for the port, the sea and the feeling of freedom. I also got my marriage proposal right between the docks and harbor tours. For me, it is therefore a very special place. Scenically, Yosemite Park in California was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I made a round trip to California when I was 18 years old and I would love to go again to explore everything even more and to experience it more intensively. You usually don't find much of interest there: Cell phone, wallet, keys, various throat lozenges (typical singer...) and lip gloss. 4. If you could be a piece of jewelry, which one would you be? I think I would be an earring. Not too long, but hanging. Golden with small and large crystals. Filigree, it can hide behind open hair, but shines when visible! :) "DEDICATION" | ONE OF A KIND AQUAMARINE NECKLACE 5. What is your motto in life? Short, sweet and pragmatic: "Just do it!" Yes, it's the Nike advertising slogan, but a former Latin dance coach often said that to me too and he was simply right. I'm often way too scared and shy and should just do things, because holding back rarely gets you anywhere. Not in sports, not in love, not in business. It's a saying that I carry in my heart non-stop, even if I don't always manage to put it into practice every day.
